Gilmor & Doyle works directly with customers in every segment of the construction industry: architects, developers, owners, government entities, and contractors. We embrace the different needs of each customer and custom-tailor our services to exceed their expectations.
|
Gilmor & Doyle utilizes state-of-the-art technology to assist our staff and customers throughout design and construction:
|
• The industry leader in CAD for engineering - Autodesk Building Systems - is used by every designer. This software package assists with interference detection (resulting in fewer change orders in the field and more precise construction documents), quicker design (reduces "drafting" tasks to speed design delivery), and 3-D design (ductwork and other systems are drawn in 3-D, allowing for accurate sections and more detailed installation instructions).
• Our project management staff is equipped with Tablet PC's to reduce "round trip time" between revisions and updates to the electronic building models. This allows for owners and contractors in different cities to make revisions using technology as simple as pen and paper and update the design team instantaneously using our high speed dedicated fiber optic connection to both offices.
• Our project management web site allows for contractors, vendors, architects, and owners to access and upload drawings, cutsheets, pictures, or any other type of file through a simple but secure web interface. Whereas emailing large amounts of files or navigating FTP sites can be difficult and slow, construction participants each have their own username and password allowing them access to files as is deemed necessary by our customer. |
